Dangerpoint

An interactive indoor education activity centre based in Talacre, North Wales. Designed like a film set, visitors journey from the home to the beach, countryside, playground, farm and other settings, learning about risks and how to keep safe, having fun.

Dangerpoint is located just off the A548 Coast Road, Talacre Beach exit from roundabout. Follow Station Road over bridge and take first right.

Greenfield

Explore 70 acres of woodland, visit the museum and visitor centre to discover amazing history from early beginnings as an Abbey, to the industries of the 19th Century and enjoy a giant adventure playground, educational activities and a changing programme of events.

Techniquest

The only place in North Wales you will find live science shows, 65 hands-on interactive activities, science garden and a crazy science shop.

They are housed inside an unusual looking building right in the middle of the Glyndŵr University Campus in Wrexham. The science discovery centre offers a self-guided tour through all the exhibits and all the exhibits are from the world of science and illusions. It’s great for hands-on interactive play and education, for all.

Greenacres Animal Park

Zoological and farm set in Hawarden approximately 35 minutes trip out from Talacre. It’s a great place to take young children for a day out. This is only 10 minutes away from Broughton retail park if you need to feed the kids afterwards.

Talacre Beach & Village

The memory of Talacre

Talacre Flintshire area is steeped in nostalgia for a lots of people and is one of the places were the coast line has never been developed. It’s well known for being the place children were evacuated to from Liverpool in the war and its Viking mythology.

From the beach, you look across to the Mersey estuary, you can see the Dee estuary and the Wirral and Hilbre Island.
