We are lucky enough to be within the boundaries of the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). It covers 390 square kilometres of windswept hill-tops, heather moorland, limestone crags and wooded valleys.

This area is a walker’s paradise and an astronomer’s dream. The night skies show crystal clear star constellations and it is known as the best place in the country for stargazing (and UFO spotting).

Our staff have put their heads together and come up with a list of all the things they like and recommend doing, to make the most of your time in North Wales.
